We are learning…

This week in the classroom, the children worked

hard to continue learning each other’s names as well

as important names around the school. The adults in the building are extremely impressed with how quickly the children are becoming experts at our school rules and routines!

Speaking of school rules, our big project this week was creating our classroom norms. When asked “What are some of the ways we treat our friends, our teachers, and our classroom”, the children created their own list of norms, or rules, for our classroom. They then covered their hands in paint and ‘signed’ the paper to show they agree to be a kind, caring, respectful lover of learning while in the classroom!

• Homecoming parade and game are THIS FRIDAY! Festivities start @ 5pm

• If you have any pictures of extended family the children are close to, please feel free to send them in for our “People who love us” board!
