Weekly News: Nov 14-17

We are learning…

This week has been all about conversation! There have been some exciting changes to the classroom which have sparked some interesting dialogues. Our house area (dramatic play) has turned into Cafe Play. Each day, the children put on their server aprons and go to work. Menus are passed out, orders are taken, food is served, and some good old fashioned conversation is happening between the servers and the customers. I’ve never seen such incredible customer service!

The children put together a puppet show this week as well. They took on the role of various animals and created their own speaking lines. Once they were ready, they performed for an audience of their peers and the teachers.
