What We're Learning

The children are becoming counting experts! We have been working hard this week to learn what our numbers look like and how to count out the number of objects that matches the number. We played number matching games, sorted items by a variety of characteristics before counting how many were in each group, and we even made bar graphs that showed how many letters are in each of our names! We love numbers in our classroom!

Tuesday we took the children on an exciting adventure through the forest! We walked the Forest View Nature Trail, discovered letters, learned about different types of trees, and the importance of taking care of nature. We had such a great time and cannot wait to do it again!

From Home to School

Setting the table for dinner this weekend? Ask your child help you! Tell your child how many of each item you need and have them count the correct number of forks, spoons, plates, etc.
